I want a Ferrari driving experience

I want to do this – Ferrari Thrill from Red Letter Days. They currently have this for £69 rather than £99 as a Christmas special.
Or should I treat someone else to a pampering day – maybe not where’s the keys for that Ferrari.

Get more from Tesco’s 5p off Petrol Vouchers

Shop till you drop… Well not quite. Next time Tesco’s have the 5 pence off petrol for a £50 spend in store just ask the checkout operator to stop when they hit £50 (make sure you put your multi buys through together), pay for that £50 shop, get your first voucher then continue.

If you don’t quite make the next £50 mark just buy some phone top up, stamps or whatever to reach the next £50 and claim your second voucher.

I do this every time and the checkout operators always say ‘That’s a good idea’.

PS – When you do use your voucher for fuel make sure that you fill up to a full litre rather than a full pound (as it’s 5p off per litre).

If you have an iPhone on O2 Pay and Go – this is the tariff you should be on!

I have just finished my one year free O2 Web & Wi-Fi Bolt On this month.

I received a text from O2 to say from now on I will be charged £10 per month for the Web & Wi-Fi Bolt On (I knew it was coming and would I be able to justify it?).
I sent an email to the O2 support team stating that I did not want the Wi-Fi element (why would I need it as I have 3G access) which dropped the price down to £7.50 per month with 200MB of data access.
So basically I would need to top up by £17.50 per month to give me 300 free texts and O2 would take out £7.50 from my balance for the Web Bolt On – that’s not too bad but I could still feel the burn from £90 per year.

Then I discovered that O2 have a Pay and Go tariff called Text and Web

If you opt in for this tariff before 16th November 2009, you receive the following free allowance:

  • £10 – £14 gets unlimited UK texts.
  • £15 – £29 gets unlimited UK texts and unlimited Web (500MB) (That’s the puppy!).

If you opt in for this tariff after 17th November 2009, you receive the following free allowance:

  • £10 – £14.99 gets 300 UK Texts
  • £15 – £29.99 gets 500 UK Texts and Unlimited Web.
  • £30 or more gets Unlimited UK Texts and Unlimited Web.

So I dropped the bolt on and changed tariff to Text and Web.
Now I can top up by £15 per month and get more data access (500MB rather than 200MB – fair usage applies) and unlimited texts (12000 texts rather than 300 texts) plus I get all of the £15 to spend on calls – Bargain!

Vodafone Mobile Broadband on PAYG USB Modem

Got a great deal (Ends today) – Vodafone Mobile Broadband on Pay As You Go USB Modem.

This USB modem come with £15 credit included and is normally £39.99 (£34.99 online). I bought it for £29.99 at Argos
The credit lasts for 180 days rather than the standard 30 day PAYG and allows for 1G of access which is great for the occasional support call.
